South West Arts - August 2018

Firstly we want to remind you that CASP is closing this week! This is such a great opportunity to get funding for your local art project - such as the interpretive panels at the No.7 S.F.T.S. Museum in Deniliquin and the new murals in Hillston and at Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre that were funded this year through CASP. Funding will be allocated to our region so make sure you apply. Don't miss out on funding for 2019!

Here are some helpful tips for 2019 Regional Arts NSW Grants...
We'd also like to congratulate the Bridge Art Project in Echuca Moama, which has received $50,000 funding under the Building Better Regions Fund Round Two. The funding will enable the development of a 'Master Plan' for the creation of an innovative arts precinct to revitalise the twin towns of Echuca Moama 
Regional Cultural Fund - Round Two
68 Regional Projects have been announced as receiving funding in the first round of the NSW Government Regional Cultural Fund (see list here).
With no local projects receiving funding, we are encouraging everyone in our region to look at Round Two, which will offer applicants a share in $47 million in funding, including up to $5 million specifically for regional public library infrastructure projects, and support for the creation and installation of artist-led public art.

Moulamein - $2000 Outdoor Sculpture Prize

Sculptors near & far are invited to enter the inaugural Moulamein Arts & Craft Council Outdoor Sculpture Competition.

The winning Sculpture will become the property of Moulamein Arts & Crafts Council and be installed in the grounds of The Men’s Shed Wool Shed 37 Morago St. Moulamein NSW.

Opportunity for early career Indigenous writers
